Telesales Representatives (Denver, Colorado)
Whiting Consulting is searching for Telesales candidates for our client in the New York City area.
Telesales representatives work directly with the Strategic Accounts Team (SAT). You will be responsible for assisting the SAT by penetrating new accounts, qualifying prospective clients, and generating revenue opportunities. As a Telesales representative, you will be the first in contact with Fortune 500 marketing teams on behalf of our client. This is an entry level position for our SAT. You do well, and you will move up.
Your MO will be to effectively contact, penetrate, and participate in the presentation of Company capabilities to key decision makers at some of the largest, savviest brands in the USA.
Responsibilities
Create and execute account penetration strategy using e-mail and cold calling
Keep updated on prospective client’s business and related industry trends
Work closely with the SAT to identify key accounts
Learn and present Company capabilities to prospective clients
Work with SAT to transition qualified prospects to the appropriate SAT member
Provide weekly progress reports to manager
Requirements
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively via written and verbal communications with team members and prospective clients
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Highly-organized with attention to detail
Adept multi-tasker. Do you enjoy juggling?
Strategic thinker; focused but still has the ability to think outside the box
Results driven
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative-thinking, and ever-evolving marketing industry. Can you keep up?
Qualifications
BA or BS degree – (preferably in marketing, communications or business admin)

Relevant experience of 2+ years in the agency, marketing or ad sales industry
