Customer Care Specialist (New York, New York)
Whiting Consulting is searching for a Customer Service Specialist to assist all of our client’s members with the solutions they need to flourish in the Company’s experience. As one of the Company’s Customer Care team members, you will work alongside other Customer Care Specialists to assist our hosts and guests with all of their related questions. This is not a call center and unlike other Customer Care positions. With our client, you will be responsible for more than simple questions and answers, but rather you will be part of a problem solving unit that can and will constantly design new ways to conduct our Customer Care policy. The Customer Care Specialist will report directly to the General Manager of Customer Care, but will interact with several other departments on a daily basis including Production, Event Systems and Public Relations.
Responsibilities
Answering all inquires – with the majority of responses originating in email form.
Handling, reviewing and featuring all social content uploaded to the website (photos, videos, blog comments, etc.)
Directly assisting in the fulfillment of all parties
Special Projects such as Sweepstakes, Host Contests and PR outreach
Requirements
Excellent writing skills – preferably with writing experience in a number of different mediums
Ability to work in a fast paced environment juggling multiple projects at once
Exceptional communication skills – ability to interact with all types of people and all types of varying situations
An understanding of project objectives and know how to drive solutions in multiple ways
Developing and maintaining current and new customer relationships
Ability to think on your feet and offer creative solutions to difficult problems –often times problems that are new to the team
Experience working independently while still being part of a greater team
Spanish (or other) speakers are a plus
