Whiting Consulting is searching for a Systems Engineer for your customer located in the New York City area.
Responsibilities
Provide expert judgement and analysis for Global Active Directory design, architecture, security, migrations, and consolidations that employ solutions to our client's business needs.
Resolve highly-complex technical issues and conducts advanced research applicable to an enterprise Active Directory infrastructure.
Recommend alterations to development and design that improve quality of systems and/or procedures and provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancement of complex enterprise Active Directory Infrastructure.
Fitting forest and/or organizational unit structure to support organizational needs.
Delegate authority within a distributed OU management structure.
Modify (extending) the AD schema to meet specific location/user needs.
Manage root Group Policies (GPOs) and OUs while maintaining the highest standard of infrastructure security at all times.
Create and maintain Active Directory design and operations documentation
Provide Level 3 help desk support.
Assist with planning special IT projects.
